A stanchion is furniture that gets treated like an obstacle. It is knocked by suitcases, leaned on, dragged across floors by people who will not lift it, and expected to look presentable in the background of every photograph taken in the building.
Almost everything that goes wrong traces back to the base. A light base tips the first time a bag catches the belt. An unfinished base scratches a marble floor within a week. We cast ours with the mass low and finish the underside, because that is the part doing the work.
The second thing that goes wrong is layout. Most queue problems are floor-plan problems, which is why we draw the line before we sell the posts — and why that drawing routinely reduces the order rather than growing it.
Why we exist
Crowd control is sold as a commodity: a post is a post, buy twelve. Then the belts snap back at people, the bases walk on a polished floor, the serpentine is too tight for a wheelchair, and somebody orders three more posts to patch it.
We would rather spend an hour on a layout drawing and sell you nine posts that work. That has cost us units and won us the repeat orders, which turns out to be the better trade.
What we actually make
Retractable belt posts with controlled slow recoil and four-way heads. Velvet rope sets in genuine velvet with cast hooks. Sign frame posts taking A4 and A3 inserts, single or double sided. Fillable outdoor bases with UV-stable posts and high-visibility belts. Wall-mounted cassettes, fixed or magnetic, with no floor footprint at all. And complete kits delivered against a numbered layout.
Belts are printed on both faces along their full length so the message reads from either side of a queue, and finishes can be matched to a photograph of your existing fittings.
